Sifu Jon Linder began his marial arts training in 1988 while practicing Goju Ryu under Sensei Rex Lee Over the next few years, he also trained in Akido and classical Jui Jitsu. Sifu Linder began his Wing Chun Kung Fu training under Sifu Jason Zenobia and took private lessons for four years.In 1995 he met Sifu John Melillo and in 1996 and began studying under Sifu Melillo,where he continued his training for the next seven years. Jon was an assistant instructor at Sifu Melillo's school for three years before opening his own school. Jon Linder is the only Certified Instructor under Sifu John Melillo.
